Kerry-Lee Mallon: Artist About me I was born in and inspired by the magnificant South Africa. Though I dream of sitting and staring at the Drakensberg mountainscape once again,  I try to see God's beauty in all His creations. I hope to reflect that with the talent he has lended me for my short stay on His earth. Now 19 years of age, I live in the quickly growing Texas town of Frisco. I'm currently attending the University of Texas at Dallas, and plan to eventually get a masters degree in Zoology. Maybe with that I can finnaly go back home and work with wild animals. But as for now, I plan on focusing on my other love; art. I started off being afraid of a blank canvas, but felt that I have come a long, long way from then. Straying from my realistic style, I choose to rather let my own technigues show through in my brush strokes. The more I paint, the more I find myself fascinated by other painter's techniques and styles. I now can appreciate a Dali as well as a Kinkade. Through my mother I obtained a speciality in watercolor, and have been perfecting it ever since in African landscapes.
